Really impressive flared wing Dovetail from Putnam Co., Indiana formerly of the Terry Allen Collection. Perino’s 1998 COA identifies it as Bisher Chert, Some might call it Fort Payne or even Kenneth. Jerry Dickey’s letter also states he believes it to be authentic, but noted a small area of restoration near the tip that Perino missed. Despite this, an impressive piece for any frame!
