The TAC-1030 is the absolutely best simple stereo-microscope available on the market! We searched for months to find the best quality of manufacture, electronics, and of course optics to provide our customers with a durable unit. This unit, the TAC-1030 features 10x or 30x mode magnification, along with dual lighting (halogen top, fluorescent bottom) to suit most any need.

Featuring best-in-class optics, the lenses are precision ground Japanese glass from a factory set-up by Carl Zeiss (famous for high quality camera lenses). Arguably, these optics are better than some more expensive units and you will find no cheap plastic substitutions like you will on lower-priced units on eBay.

Brightest Illumination in its class: - The TAC-1030 features the absolute brightest illumination of any comparably priced scope in its class as well! This is acheived through the use of 6v15w MR11 Halogen reflectors. This is TWICE AS BRIGHT as lower priced 12 volt units.  The top light is also tied to an adjustable rheostat to adjust intensity and provide for long life of the bulb.

Built to Last! - These units as very well engineered! We have had them fall off of countertops, truck tail-gates, and had no damage to the optics. The stand features all-steel construction along with precision rack and pinion focal adjustment.

Accessories Included: Dust Cover, Tension Adjustment Spanner, Rubber Eye pieces, White/Dark Field stage. 

20x/60x eyepieces are available at additional charge.

Unit is shipped in a form fitted styrofoam shipping and storage container.

5 Year Warranty! - This unit features a 5 year warranty on everything but the light bulbs (from date of purchase). Should the unit fail to perform as expected, we will repair or replace it for free!
